Who Am I

My name is Thomas J.C. MacDonald and driftwood is my passion. I have been making things from driftwood for over 20 years. Many people have admired and wanted it, so I thought I would start sharing it with the world.

What I do

They say when life gives you lemons…make lemonade. Well, life has given me driftwood. I have a cabin on Kootenay Lake in British Columbia and when spring brings the high water, Mother Nature gives me a whole beach full of driftwood. Seeing the beauty in each piece, I turn it into something that someone will love.

Why I Created My Website

After twenty years of making pieces and selling to family and friends, I have found that there are many other people that would love to own one of my pieces and the internet was the best way to view them, as not many people get out to the middle of nowhere in the Kootenays.
